Emergency Plus Medical Services (E-Plus) Flags off 105 Ambulances to Provide
Emergency Medical Services for the 2023 Safari Rally Championships in
Naivasha, Kenya

Nairobi, Kenya, Tuesday 20th June 2023: Today, Eplus Medical Operations Director, Dr. Christine Memusi flagged off 105 ambulances to the 2023 Safari Rally Championships that will run from the 22nd to 25th June, 2023 in Naivasha, Kenya. As the leading provider of pre-hospital care in Kenya, E-Plus is committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of all the rally crew and spectators during this prestigious motorsport event.

Speaking during the event, Dr. Memusi emphasized the importance of having in place a strong emergency medical services infrastructure to promptly respond to any medical emergencies that may occur during the championships, given the potential risks associated with the rally.

The ambulances are equipped with state-of-the-art medical equipment and supplies, including advanced life support systems, defibrillators, ventilators, and trauma kits. This ensures that our teams are able to deliver the highest standard of emergency medical care to the rally crew and spectators at a moment's notice. E-Plus has invested significant resources in training and capacity building to ensure the readiness and effectiveness of our medical teams. They have undergone specialized training to handle a wide range of medical emergencies, and rally-specific medical emergencies, said Dr.Memusi.

E-Plus will provide both Advanced Life Support and Basic Life Support ambulances for the 3- day event in all the stages of the rally championships.
